THE FLAVORS HOOK
OREGON KIDS CAMPAIGN
is a growing statewide movement of more than 50 organizations representing thousands of Oregonians working to protect our kids from the dangerous traps set by the tobacco industry.
This industry has a long history of targeting children and other vulnerable groups with deceptive marketing all to build their customer base.
These companies use flavored products like Cotton Candy, Watermelon Ice, and Cool Mint to attract and hook new young users on nicotine and tobacco. And it’s working.
FLAVORS HOOK
OUR KIDS
By closing the main pathway use to entice them—flavors—we can protect our children from a lifetime of addiction.
Right now, the Oregon Legislature is considering taking on Big Tobacco and ending the sale of these harmful products. HB 3090, the Preventing Nicotine Addiction bill, will protect our kids and our communities by ending the sale of all flavored nicotine and tobacco products in Oregon.
